EDITORS' NOTE:
We are thrilled to bring you our hottest issue yet! When you sift through the sand in these latest poems, you may find a bad playlist, a yellow rusted bike, or the silver threads of constellations. You may notice your palms are a bit clammy, or that your heart is just a tiny bit warmer. Your summer romance may be a streetcar named Daisy, lime popsicles, or being brand new (almost), and love can be seen through the lens of sunglasses, or a campfire with a side of smores. We hope when you read through the storms, the cloudburst tears in some of these sultry stanzas, that you take a minute to sit with those feelings, before those feelings are gone by fall. As the season comes to a close, we hope the embers of your summer love stay lit. If not, may these poems bring you the love you might be looking for.
With all our summer love,
Arielle & Kristen
